From I-5...Take Exit 30 heading East onto Crater Lake Highway (Hwy 62) going toward White City. Turn South onto Hwy 140 (just before White City towards Klamath Falls). Drive up 35 miles. Look for a brown sign for the Brown Mtn Trails/Camp McLoughlin and Camp Esther Applegate between Mile Marker 35 and 36. Turn off there onto NF-3601 stay left. Follow that little road for nearly 3 miles. Look for the National Forest Esther Applegate YW Camp sign. You’re here! (Don't go into the CEA food service road unless you're bringing in food or are working in the kitchen.)

Please contact us to register for the upcoming Fall Retreat to be held Friday night, September 7th, all day Saturday, September 8th, and Sunday morning Sept. 9th, 2018, at Camp Esther Applegate on Lake of the Woods off Hwy 140 towards Klamath Falls. Pre-registration for the conference is strongly recommended to ensure we can provide enough food for all conference participants. There is a $10 donation for locals and a $20 non local donation that will be accepted upon registration to help cover the costs for the meals which are all included in the conference.)
We hope that you can arrive to the Medford Temple in Central Point early Friday to do a temple session (be sure to call and make a reservation 541.664.2050) and then come up to Camp Esther Applegate on Lake of the Woods Friday evening for registration and cabin assignments from 6:30 -7:30. (If you arrive earlier, you can sign in that you are on the property, but will not be able to choose a cabin and unpack until after you have registered.) After check-in, please sign up for a camp and cleanup committee, choose a cabin which sleeps twelve, unload your gear, then join us for a fire and treats around the campfire at 8:00 for a Fireside. ***Remember byo dinner! (Although if you forget or don't have time, we will provide a light supper for you!) Some star gazing may occur on the docks around 9:30.
The Conference Agenda will list a detailed schedule of events, activities and the classes and speakers offered on Saturday of the conference weekend.
Saturday's breakfast will be hosted from 7:30-8:30, Opening Services and Keynote 9-10 at amphitheater (weather permitting). Classes run from 10-1 and Lunch will be served from1-2 with a camp service project going from 2-3. Free time runs from 3-7 and Dinner will be served 7-8:30. A Dance will be hosted that night after dinner as a star gazing session on the docks.
Sunday morning's Continental Breakfast will be offered before the Sacrament/Testimony meeting. The camp must be packed up, cleaned and exited by 12 noon on Sunday morning so most cleanup needs to be done Saturday night before bedtime so as to honor the Sabbath. Sunday services will run from 9-11am. Final camp clean-up and check out will run from 11-12 noon.
There are separate guys and gals bathrooms, showers and the cabins for Friday and Saturday nights, all the meals, classes and camp amenities are provided at a requested $10 donation for locals if you are in the quad stake area which includes Central Point, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls or Medford Stakes. If you are not a local, then we are asking for a $20.00 Early Pre Conference Registration donation due no later than arrival/check-in and a $25.00 Registration donation due upon arrival. No Pets allowed on the campground.
When registering, please do the following;
1. Be sure to sign up for a Camp Committee which are listed below the registration form.
2. Call the Temple ahead of time to reserve your spot for the Friday session if you can make it.
3. Bring your own food for any dietary restrictions please.
4. List an emergency contact.
